By Faith…
These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect. (Hebrews 11: 39-40)
If you were part of our annual weekend away, thank you for coming!
What a weekend! There was something truly wonderful about gathering with 280 women from all walks of life, all ages, and different church backgrounds. We came together to encounter Jesus, have fun and build new friendships.
We were encouraged to ‘hold on’ as we unpacked Hebrews 11 and were wonderfully reminded of the Bible greats who lived by faith. The honesty of the speakers helped bring this passage alive as they lived out their faith before us.
From start to finish, there was such a sense of joy - so much to do: craft, walk, pray, sing, dance, eat, chat, relax, swim, to name but a few.
The Saturday evening event was a highlight, especially when we listened to Fiona Castle name-drop all the good and great of showbiz. She had such fabulous stories to share, and then there was the dancing; there is always dancing!
The last day came around far too soon. We left encouraged, with full hearts and great memories, in anticipation of all that is to come.
