Here is a story I heard on the radio,
Two boys were walking home and needed to cross a field covered in snow, one suggests they see who can walk making the straightest line of footprints in the snow. Both boys set off across the field and on arriving at their house they look back at the two lines of footprints. Peter’s were very wobbly and Steven’s were very straight. Peter said “I don’t understand, I tried really hard and kept my eye on my feet the whole time. Steven how did you walk in such a straight line?” Steven said “I just kept my eyes fixed on the light shinning in the kitchen window and walked….”
Fix your eyes on God.
Proverbs 4:25,26 Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.
