Max Lucado’s latest book Outlive Your Life: You Were Made To Make A Difference invites readers to consider those in our society who are at risk and in need. He calls for people, churches and communities to pursue ‘compassionate living’.
According to an announcement from his publisher, Pastor Max has committed to donating 100% of the royalties for his upcoming book to benefit children and single mothers.
In honour of his 25th year of book publishing, Lucado is also partnering with international humanitarian group World Vision to secure sponsorships for 25,000 currently unsponsored children.
Outlive Your Life will be released by publishers Thomas Nelson next month and, according to their announcement, 100% of book royalties will be donated to World Vision and the James 1:27 Foundation which seeks to provide financial, emotional and spiritual assistance to women and children in times of distress.
Lucado has a publishing career spanning 25 years and to date has more than 65 million books in print. Many of his titles have been on national bestsellers lists including those of The New York Times, USA Today, Publishers Weekly and Evangelical Christian Publishers Association.
An audio CD and paperback version of the book along with a DVD-based study resource will also be released.
