From the very first conversation the Activate Team grasped our Shine Like Stars vision for our weekend retreat. They were enthusiastic, creative and an amazing sounding board for developing talks. Their experience came through in the suggestions they made much of which was based on what works well. They put us at ease quite quickly, as a planning team, and we found them very positive, supportive, and encouraging.
Both Rhiannon and Rachel arrived early Friday afternoon to set up their beautiful stand and help with any final preparations. They made themselves available to all those attending the retreat over the weekend to discuss any new ministry ideas or just simply to encourage people in whatever they were already doing. They were a great resource to have on hand and had a wonderful gift for coming alongside everyone who came to the retreat. They also joined in with all the activities we had planned and were great fun to have around.
Their talks were biblically based, very engaging, but also easy to relate as they were often based on real life situations. They spoke both from the heart and have a great passion for equipping people to build relationships and be open about their faith. They rated a 5 out of 5 on feedback from our attendees and several people said they would have liked to have heard more from them if time had allowed.
